So What is eSports?
eSports is short for electronic sport and this is online competitive gaming in venues. These venues are called Arenas and what has made competitive gaming to be regarded as a sport are the spectators and these people fill out these venues by coming to watch highly skilled gamers compete for cash prizes.
Those at the top of the eSport ecosystem (the players) win millions of dollars in prize money just by competing in video games. What has now become special about eSports is that the spectators are behaving just like every other spectator for other sporting codes; they are buying tickets to venues, they are buying merchandise. As a result this behavior has attracted big brands like Coca-Cola, RedBull, Asus and a lot more others but also Professional Sport teams and celebrities are getting in on it too; Manchester City fc has an eSport team, the Golden State Warriors has an eSport team, heck Orlando Pirates fc has an eSport team and Jennifer Lopez, Shaquille O’Neal are two of the many celebrities investing in eSports.
This is why eSports is one of the fastest growing and vibrant digital industries in the world.
Those are just reasons why we are building an eSport title but more importantly I have given reasons to why the game room is equally important. Basically with the game room, we are talking about having a venue to conduct a competitive gaming service. This venue is going to allow us to deploy the most fascinating business model around competitive gaming. Our value Proposition is that anyone can make between $10 and $800 per month playing games competitively through gaming tournaments hosted by Global GamePlay BW. This fascinating business model is why our vision is to introduce an authentic universal competitive gaming service.
